Most fine jewellery brands describe their craftsmanship in general terms.
Hand-finished. Expertly crafted. Made with care. These phrases do not tell you much about what actually happens between an order and a delivery.
Here is what happens when you order a HEIREST piece.
Configuration
It starts with the configurator. You choose the metal, the stone type, the cut, the carat weight, the setting. As you make each decision, a photorealistic 3D render generates in real time. The price updates with every change.
When you are satisfied, you order.
Stone selection
Once your order is placed, your stone is hand-picked to HEIREST's specifications. For every diamond: colour D, E, or F; clarity VS2 or above; cut Excellent or Ideal; polish Excellent; symmetry Excellent; fluorescence None.
Before production begins, you receive a photograph of your hand-picked stone. You see what is going into your piece before it is set.
Production
The design is translated into a CAD file - a precise digital model of the finished piece. From that model, a wax is produced and lost-wax casting is used to create the metal component in your chosen alloy. The casting is cleaned, filed, and prepared for setting.
Stone setting
Each stone is hand-set by craftsmen with decades of experience in fine jewellery production.
Setting is the most skilled part of the process. The stone must sit at the correct height and angle within the prongs, with even pressure across all contact points. A well-set stone sits flush, secure, precisely positioned. The difference between a well-set stone and a poorly set one is visible in how the piece catches light.
Eight Layer Quality Control
Every HEIREST piece passes through eight distinct points of review before it reaches you.
Six happen within production. After the wax mould - the model is checked against the CAD file before a single gram of metal is cast. After casting - every detail assessed for completeness, size, and cut; any defects addressed before the piece moves forward. Before stone setting - a final check of the metalwork, and an individual assessment of each stone's quality and fit. After stone setting - every stone checked for correct placement, security, and finish. After detailed polishing - every corner and surface examined. After final cleaning - a complete review of size, polish, setting, engraving, and function before the piece is signed off.
Then it reaches us.
Every completed HEIREST piece is reviewed in full by our manufacturing partner. And then reviewed again - individually - by the HEIREST team and our founder.
Every piece.
Finishing and dispatch
After setting, each piece is hand-polished to its final surface finish and individually inspected - stone security, prong condition, surface - before it is approved for dispatch.
Your HEIREST Statement of Authentication is issued, confirming your exact specifications. For diamonds of one carat or greater, your IGI Certificate is included. The piece is photographed before it leaves. You receive that image before it arrives.
The unboxing experience is designed to match the standard of what is inside. HEIREST invests approximately thirty times more in packaging relative to the category convention - because for a brand built on delivering to your door, the moment you open the box is the first physical point of contact.
It should match what is inside.
Every order is fully tracked and fully insured for the total value of the piece. Signature is required on delivery. From order to dispatch: 3 to 4 weeks.
