Our Process

Every HEIREST piece begins with you. Here is how it works, from first decision to your piece arriving at your door.

OUR PROCESS

Nothing hidden, everything considered.

01 - Design

Open the configurator on any product page and start building your piece. Choose your metal, stone type, cut, and size. Each selection is rendered in 3D in real time, with the price updating at every step.

02 - Order

Once you complete your purchase, we begin hand-crafting your piece. Every HEIREST piece is made to order, crafted to your exact specifications by artisans with decades of experience in fine jewellery production.

Updates During Production:

You'll hear from us at four points along the way:

  1. Order confirmation: your full design specifications and order reference, sent immediately after purchase.
  2. Your stone(s): once your stone(s) has been hand-picked for your piece, we'll send you a photo. You'll see exactly what's going into your piece before it's set.
  3. Your completed piece: before your piece leaves for you, we'll send a final image. A preview before it arrives.
  4. Delivery: once our founder has personally reviewed and your piece for dispatch, we ship globally with free, fully insured, express shipping. In most instances, your order will be received within 3-4 days.

03 - Eight-Step Quality Review

Each HEIREST piece goes through eight independent quality review steps prior to being dispatched.

Six checkpoints occur within production: from wax mould through casting, base modification, stone setting, polish, and final clean.

Once complete, each piece is inspected and approved for release by our Head Jeweller, with one final review happening from our founder prior to final dispatch.

This commitment to quality means we stand behind the craftsmanship and longevity of each piece.

04 - Delivery

Your piece is dispatched within 2-4 weeks of your purchase date. From there, complimentary worldwide shipping takes it to your door: fully tracked, fully insured, and requiring a signature on delivery.

For estimated delivery timeframes by market, see Shipping.

Any applicable sales taxes, duties, tariffs, import charges or other similar fees are calculated at checkout.

Our Eight-Step Quality Control Process

Every HEIREST piece passes through eight distinct points of review before it reaches you to ensure it is perfect.

Step 1: Wax Mold

The wax mold is verified against the original CAD file before casting begins. No metal is poured until the form is exact.

Step 2: Casting

Once cast, every detail is assessed for completeness, size, and shape. Any defect is addressed before the piece advances.

Step 3: Fitting

Before setting begins, the metalwork is reviewed a final time and each stone is evaluated for quality and fit against the structure it will sit in.

Step 4: Setting

After setting, every stone is checked for correct placement, security, and finish.

Step 5: Polishing

Following detailed polishing, every corner and surface is examined and cleaned.

Step 6: Completed Piece

A complete review of size, polish, setting, stone, engraving, and function - confirmed against The HEIREST Standard before sign-off.

Step 7: Head Jeweller Review

Each piece is reviewed and signed off by our Head Jeweller.

Step 8: HEIREST Founder Review

A final review by HEIREST's founder before the piece leaves our hands.
