Getting Your Size Right
Every HEIREST piece is made to your exact specification. Getting your size right before your piece goes into production means it arrives ready to wear.
Not sure of your size?
Ring sizing can be tricky. Our sizing kit is available to purchase for New Zealand customers with quick delivery and includes everything you need to measure accurately from home. Alternatively, we provide a complimentary sizing kit with all gift card purchases!
We also offer a complimentary ring resize within 60 days of delivery, carried out by a jeweller local to you.
Ring Sizing
We offer ring sizes from F-Z, including half sizes. To confirm your size, use the ring sizing tool included in your sizing kit, or follow the steps below.
a) Using our Sizing Kit -
Use the ring sizing tool included in your sizing kit, you want to find a size which feels comfortable however still requires a little tug to remove.
b) Alternative Option -
If you don’t have a HEIREST sizing kit, you may like to use a string or ribbon lying around your home. If you are using this method, ensure the string/ribbon is sitting snug around the base of the finger you intend to wear the ring on. Mark where the ribbon meets and match that measurement to the size chart below.
c) Using an existing ring -
Place a ring that fits well flat on a ruler. Measure the internal diameter in millimetres and match to the chart below.
A few things worth knowing:

Fingers are slightly larger at the end of the day and in warmer temperatures. For the most accurate measurement, size in the evening.

If you're between two sizes, size up for wider bands and size down for slimmer profiles.

Your ring should slide over your knuckle with light resistance and sit comfortably at the base of your finger without spinning freely.
What the right fit feels like
Your ring should require a small amount of effort to remove, but not a struggle. If it slides off on its own, it's too loose. If it leaves a mark or restricts circulation, it's too tight.
Bracelet Sizing
a) Using our Sizing Kit -
Wrap the wrist sizing ribbon around your wrist at the point where you'd wear the bracelet. Note the measurement, then add 1-1.5cm for a standard fit, or 2cm if you prefer more movement.
b) Alternative Option -
Using a piece of paper or string: Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around your wrist. Mark where it overlaps. Measure the length in millimetres - this is your circumference. Note the measurement, then add 1-1.5cm for a standard fit, or 2cm if you prefer more movement.
Our standard bracelet sizes are 16.5cm, 17.5cm and 18.5cm. However if your size isn’t shown on the website, reach out to us and we can confirm accurate pricing.
What the right fit feels like
A well-fitted bracelet sits comfortably on the wrist and moves naturally with your hand. It should not slide up your arm when raised, and should not be tight enough to leave an indent. For tennis bracelets, a closer fit is recommended to keep the piece in position and the stones facing upward.
